For many years, Buckley Sandler lawyers have worked with LSIC to provide legal assistance to low-income DC residents, and the Kolar Foundation has supported LSIC’s efforts to train law school students in pro bono work.

Buckley Sandler provides legal services to economically disadvantaged individuals as well as to non-profit organizations throughout the United States, offering pro bono support for a wide range of clients, including immigrants, children, veterans, senior citizens, the needy, and those caught up in the criminal justice system.

The Kolar Foundation, funded by a contribution of a percentage of the firm’s profits, supports charitable initiatives of importance to the members and employees of the firm. Since its inception in 2009, the foundation has donated more than $2.3 million to charitable endeavors.

LSIC is one of the oldest and most well-regarded legal clinical programs in Washington, DC, and trains D.C.-area law students to represent clients in civil matters in D.C. Superior Court and local administrative agencies.
