Buckley Sandler Wins Bar Association of the District of Columbia’s 2017 Quality of Life Award

The Bar Association of the District of Columbia (BADC) selected Buckley Sandler LLP to receive its “20th Annual Constance L. Belfiore Quality of Life Award,” which annually honors select law firms or legal departments that recognize the importance of quality of life, as well as professional excellence.

Constance L. Belfiore, Chair of the BADC Quality of Life Committee, noted, “One of the many reasons Buckley Sandler is being awarded this honor is because of their deep commitment to giving back to their communities. Every attorney in their firm is involved in pro bono work, and 100 percent of the time spent on pro bono counts toward billable hours."

The BADC selected Buckley Sandler to receive the organization’s highest honor on the basis of its high levels of lawyer satisfaction, low attrition rate, opportunities for alternative work schedules and strong commitment to pro bono work.

The award was presented on June 6, 2017, at the BADC's Annual Luncheon.
