Buckley Sandler Named a Top Workplace by The Washington Post for the Third Consecutive Year

The Washington Post selected Buckley Sandler as a “Top Workplace” for the third consecutive year in the newspaper’s annual ranking of the 150 best companies in the Washington, DC region. Buckley Sandler was one of only six law firms to make the select list.

"We established this law firm in 2009 with the goal to provide top tier legal work to our clients on a profitable basis in a congenial and family friendly work environment for all lawyers and staff,” said Chairman & Executive Partner Andrew L. Sandler. “We are gratified that our team continues to believe that we are doing well in meeting our work environment objectives as reflected in this most recent Washington Post survey."

Employees who were surveyed as part of the ranking praised the firm’s values and ethics, mentorship and professional development opportunities, and demonstrated commitment to pro bono and community service activities.

This recognition comes just weeks after the firm received the Bar Association of the District of Columbia’s “Quality of Life Award,” for its high levels of lawyer satisfaction, low attrition rate, opportunities for alternative work schedules, and strong commitment to pro bono work. Over the years, Buckley Sandler has received numerous awards based on employee satisfaction and a culture of diversity and inclusion. The firm has achieved perfect scores on the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index based on its LGBT-friendly policies, and has been consistently named as one of the “Best Law Firms to Work For” by Vault.
