Buckley earns perfect score in Corporate Equality Index for sixth consecutive year

Buckley received a perfect score on the 2021 Corporate Equality Index for the sixth consecutive year. The national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ workplace equality is administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation.

“Buckley is dedicated to maintaining a diverse and inclusive culture where everyone feels welcome and valued,” said Managing Partner Benjamin B. Klubes. “We appreciate the Human Rights Campaign’s recognition of our efforts in continuing to foster a supportive workplace.”

Buckley’s policies, practices, and structures satisfied all of the CEI’s criteria results, receiving a 100 percent ranking and the designation as a “Best Place to Work for LGBT Equality.” The 2021 CEI evaluated LGBT-related policies and practices, including nondiscrimination workplace protections, domestic-partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs, and public engagement with the LGBTQ community.

Buckley continues to receive recognition as a “top workplace” for attorneys and staff. For the past six years, the firm was named a Top Workplace by the Washington Post.
