Buckley receives Mansfield Rule 4.0 Certification

Buckley LLP is pleased to announce that it has achieved Mansfield Rule 4.0 Certification through its participation in a program that seeks to make meaningful progress in diversifying law firm leadership.

The certification is administered by Diversity Lab, and is named after Arabella Mansfield, the first woman admitted to the practice of law in the United States. It measures whether law firms have affirmatively considered at least 30% women, underrepresented racial/ethnic groups, LGBTQ+ lawyers, and lawyers with disabilities for leadership and governance roles, equity partner promotions, formal client pitch opportunities, and senior lateral positions.

Buckley is one of 118 U.S. law firms to achieve such certification. It was also selected to participate in the second iteration of the Midsize Mansfield Rule, which seeks to boost diversity in leadership for firms with smaller lawyer populations and leaner leadership structures.

Buckley continues to earn recognition for its inclusive culture and employee satisfaction. The firm has achieved perfect scores on the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index for six consecutive years, was named a “Top Workplace” by The Washington Post  for the seventh consecutive year, and has repeatedly been named as one of the “Best Law Firms to Work For” by Vault.
