Buckley earns perfect score in Corporate Equality Index for seventh consecutive year

Buckley received a perfect score on the 2022 Corporate Equality Index for the seventh consecutive year. The national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ+ workplace equality is administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation.

“Diversity, equity, and inclusion have always been an important priority for our firm,” said Co-Managing Partner Chris Witeck. “We are grateful for this recognition from the Human Rights Campaign Foundation and remain committed to a safe and welcoming workplace for all our employees.”

Buckley’s policies, practices, and structures satisfied all of the CEI’s criteria, receiving a 100 percent ranking and the designation as a “Best Place to Work for LGBTQ+ Equality.” The 2022 CEI evaluated policies and practices, including nondiscrimination workplace protections, domestic-partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs, and public engagement with the LGBTQ+ community.

Buckley continues to receive recognition as a “top workplace” for attorneys and staff. The firm has been named a Top Workplace by the Washington Post for the past seven years.
