Ben Klubes departs Buckley

Benjamin B. Klubes, Buckley LLP’s long-time Co-Managing Partner, has left the firm to join the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development as Principal Deputy General Counsel.

Ben’s departure comes after more than 30 years in private practice, during which time he established himself as one of the nation’s leading financial services and white collar enforcement lawyers. He joined Buckley in 2009 and since that time has served in a managing or co-managing partner role.

“We respect and appreciate that Ben is answering the call of public service at this time, and know from experience the value he brings as a leader and as a model of integrity and decency,” said Buckley LLP Co-Managing Partners Clint Rockwell and Chris Witeck. “He leaves the firm with the affection and deep admiration of the partnership, as well as its gratitude for his dedication and guidance in shaping the firm’s culture and its bright future.”
