Buckley announces four promotions for 2023

WASHINGTON, D.C. (Jan. 9, 2023) – Buckley LLP today announced the promotion of three associates to counsel and one to senior counsel, effective Jan. 1. The attorneys are from the firm’s Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles offices.

Buckley’s newly promoted counsel are:

Daniel Bellovin (Washington, D.C.) represents bank and nonbank mortgage lenders, servicers, and consumer and commercial lenders in regulatory, licensing, compliance, and enforcement matters. He received his J.D. and B.S. from the George Washington University.

Lauren Frank (Los Angeles) advises clients on matters relating to licensing, disclosures, and compliance with state and federal financial laws involving consumer and commercial finance products. She received her J.D. from the University of Southern California, and her B.A. from George Mason University.

Sally Gorrin (Washington, D.C.) assists financial services companies identify operational and regulatory goals in commercial, consumer, and residential mortgage lending and related activities, and provides strategic advice for securing federal agency and state licensing approvals. She received her J.D. from Villanova University, and her B.S. from Elon University.

Promoted to senior counsel:

Mitchell Grod (Los Angeles) represents depository institutions, mortgage lenders and brokers, automobile lenders and finance companies, and debt collectors in a range of state and federal regulatory matters. He received his J.D. from Boston University, and his B.A. from the University of California at Los Angeles.
