Federal Issues Executive Order Sanctions OFAC Department of Treasury

On July 11, President Trump announced an extension to the review period established by Executive Order 13761 (EO). EO 13761, issued by President Barack Obama, provided additional time for OFAC to review the policies and actions of Sudan to allow the opportunity to revoke certain sanctions based on positive findings regarding the Sudanese government’s actions.
