CFPB announces new advisory committee members

On September 22, the CFPB released new membership details for the Consumer Advisory Board, Community Bank Advisory Council, Credit Union Advisory Council, and Academic Research Council. Committee members, “experts in consumer protection, financial services, consumer lending, economic justice, and consumer financial products and services as well as representatives of community banks and credit unions,” will serve two-year terms and advise Bureau leadership on consumer financial issues and emerging market trends.
