It has been more than 20 years since Bill Murray played Phil Connors – the Groundhog Day character who wakes up on February 2nd over and over and over. When preparing your annual FHA certifications, it may feel like you have more in common with Phil Connors than you care to admit.

Early this year, HUD announced revisions to its annual lender certification statements and clarifications to the “Handling Prepayments: Eliminating Post-Payment Interest Charges” and “ARM Notification Requirements and Look-Back Period” final rules.

Buckley Sandler attorneys Clint Rockwell, Michelle Rogers, and Melissa Klimkiewicz discussed how the revisions will impact FHA lenders completing their annual certifications. Time was devoted at the end of the discussion to answer any specific questions that webinar participants may have.
