Associate with Consumer Credit Regulatory Experience (LA)

Buckley is currently seeking candidates with three to five years’ experience in consumer credit regulation for an Associate position for our Los Angeles (Santa Monica) office. Candidates must have strong academic performance and  persuasive writing skills. Candidates must be barred in California or have an application pending with the State Bar of California. 1st-4th Year Associate

Buckley is currently seeking candidates with one to four years’ legal experience for Associate positions for our Washington, DC, Los Angeles (Santa Monica), San Francisco, New York, or Chicago offices. Regulatory and compliance, litigation, and/or government enforcement experience is required, and financial services experience is a plus. May 2020 law school graduates will only be considered to the extent they have superior academic performance and a demonstrated interest in one or more of the aforementioned areas.  Candidates must have superior academic performance and strong persuasive writing skills.  Please include a resume, law school transcript, and a writing sample when submitting your application.

First or Second Year Associate (LA)

Buckley is currently seeking candidates with one to two years’ legal experience (2019 graduates will not be considered) for an Associate position for our Los Angeles (Santa Monica) office. Regulatory and compliance experience or financial services experience is a plus. Candidates must have superior academic performance and strong persuasive writing skills and must either be barred in California or have an application pending with the State Bar of California.  Please include a resume, law school transcript, and a writing sample when submitting your application.

Licensing Associate

Buckley is currently seeking candidates with four to eight years’ experience for an Associate position for our Washington, DC, Los Angeles (Santa Monica), New York, or Chicago office.  Candidates must have experience with consumer financial services and/or money transmitter licensing requirements, including analysis and advice regarding licensing requirements, changes of control and other key events, experience with license applications, and regular interaction with state licensing officials.  Candidates must have strong academic performance and persuasive writing skills. Candidates for the Los Angeles Office must be barred in California or have an application pending with the State Bar of California; candidates for another office must be admitted to the applicable bar or be eligible to waive into that bar.
