Daniel R. Alonso to discuss "How to become an AUSA" at the New York City Bar Association Minorities in the Courts Committee “How To” series
Daniel R. Alonso, a former federal prosecutor for the Eastern District of New York, will participate in this panel discussion and share the qualifications for and application process to become an Assistant United States Attorney in his prior district. He will also discuss the diversity efforts and recruiting for these positions, structure of the office, types of cases he typically worked on, “career path” available in this office, qualifications sought for the position of Assistant United States Attorney, and the basics of applying to that office.
