Jeffrey P. Naimon was quoted on September 23, 2020, in a Wall Street Journal article, “Coronavirus poses an array of new legal risks for companies,” which discussed some of the biggest challenges compliance officers are facing during the pandemic, including implementing the Paycheck Protection Program, which has been criticized for its selection process.

Naimon noted, “Documenting decision-making is key. You try to make sure the decision was reasonable and appropriate to begin with. You record the steps you went through, so that even if someone second-guesses you later, you can say, ‘Well, we met with the right constituencies … We were trying to do the right thing.’”
