Ameerah Banks Cooper is a Regulatory Attorney in the Los Angeles office of Buckley LLP. Ms. Banks Cooper’s practice focuses on a wide range of federal and state regulatory needs of financial services companies, including mortgage firms, consumer lenders, and money services businesses.
Prior to joining Buckley, she was an Assistant Vice President for a national consumer financial services company, where she maintained compliance with all applicable Consumer Finance Protection Board (CFPB) and other state and federal regulatory guidelines.
Ms. Banks Cooper received her J.D. from Southwestern Law School, her M.A. from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, and her B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
