David McGee is an Associate in the Washington, D.C., office of Buckley LLP. He assists clients on federal and state regulatory compliance matters relating to consumer financial services, including the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), and unfair, deceptive, or abusive acts and practices (UDAAP). He also provides guidance on mortgage servicing, state and federal licensing, motor vehicle advertising restrictions, fintech and money transmitter licensing, secondary market purchasing and licensing, credit cards, and automobile financing and purchasing.
Prior to joining Buckley, Mr. McGee was an Associate at Alston & Bird LLP. He received his J.D. from American University in 2019 (cum laude), and his B.A. from the University of Rochester in 2016 (cum laude).
