Meghann Fogarty Kovler is an Associate in the Washington, D.C., office of Buckley LLP. Ms. Kovler assists clients in the financial services industry, primarily in litigation, enforcement, and compliance matters.
Ms. Kovler also has extensive experience assisting clients in matters involving complex electronic discovery issues, such as large-scale document collection, developing effective document retention policies, and utilizing cutting-edge technology (including technology-assisted review) to reduce review and production costs.
Additionally, Ms. Kovler is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist and has assisted clients in establishing, maintaining, and monitoring Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML) compliance programs.
Prior to joining Buckley, Ms. Kovler clerked for the Honorable Kathryn Grill Graeff in the Maryland Court of Special Appeals.
Ms. Kovler received her J.D. from the University of Maryland (cum laude) in 2011 and was Articles Editor of the Maryland Law Review. She received her B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis in 2006.
