Nunu Luo represents corporate and individual clients in a variety of litigation and enforcement matters, including complex civil litigation, internal investigations and government enforcement matters.

Prior to joining Orrick, Nunu was an associate at Buckley LLP, and before that at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft.

  • Nunu has defended and prosecuted actions involving violations of securities laws, contract disputes, breach of fiduciary duty, violation of civil RICO, and business torts, including representing:

    • A service provider in multiple securities actions involving a complex product against alleged violations of Section 10(b), 9(a), 9(f), and 20(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and Sections 11 and 15 of the Securities Act of 1933
    • Board members of pharmaceutical company in breach of contract dispute brought by the former CEO with respect to the exercise of a clawback provision
    • A limited liability partnership in breach of contract dispute in an arbitration administered pursuant to AAA rules
    • An individual in a civil RICO action concerning purported involvement in an alleged sports memorabilia scheme
    • A real estate investment trust, as both defendant and plaintiff, in proxy battle against activist shareholder involving violations of securities laws and company bylaws
