FTC Commissioner Christine S. Wilson joins the podcast this week, bringing a rich background in, and a passion for, personal privacy issues. She discusses the commission’s privacy enforcement agenda, the need for national privacy legislation, and state preemption and private right of action.

Commissioner Wilson previously served as FTC Chairman Tim Muris’ chief of staff during the George W. Bush administration. She has practiced competition and consumer protection law both at law firms and as in-house counsel. When nominated, Wilson was serving as senior vice president – legal, regulatory & international for Delta Air Lines.
