Vartanian is a former financial services regulator, lawyer, law professor, and influential D.C. thought leader. He is the author of numerous books and articles on financial services and technology, and his most recent book, 200 Years of Financial Panics: Crashes, Recessions, Depressions and the Technology that Will Change It All, provides a more fulsome discussion of the issues explored in this episode.
