Buckley Sandler a Winner in Gifts for the Homeless' Battle of the Law Firm Bands Competition

Buckley Sandler is pleased to announce that our firm band, Total B/S, won the Discovery Stage at Gifts for the Homeless’ Battle of the Law Firm Bands competition. Winners were chosen based on fundraising efforts for Gifts for the Homeless, with Buckley Sandler raising $7,428, which included a $1,000 match from the Kolar Foundation of Buckley Sandler. In total, the Battle of the Law Firm Bands event raised an amazing $271,094 for Gifts for the Homeless. The band’s performance was also highlighted by the Washington Post’s coverage of the event.

Homelessness is one of the firm’s major community service commitments. Through pro bono work, volunteering, and donations through the Kolar Foundation, Buckley Sandler supports numerous organizations that provide food, clothing, and housing for the homeless in Washington, DC, New York, and Los Angeles, including the Transitional Housing Corporation (DC) and St. John’s Bread & Life (New York).
