Susanna Khalil Promoted to Counsel at BuckleySandler LLP

Los Angeles (July 5, 2016) – BuckleySandler LLP, a premier financial services, government enforcement, and litigation law firm has promoted Susanna Khalil to Counsel, effective July 1, 2016.

Ms. Khalil is based in the firm’s Los Angeles office, where her practice focuses on the licensing and compliance issues faced by consumer financial services companies. She counsels clients nationwide on federal and state laws and advises them in matters before numerous regulators and enforcement agencies, including the CFPB, FHA, and HUD, among others. Ms. Khalil is the Co-Vice Chair of the Webinars & Roundtables Subcommittee of the American Bar Association's Consumer Financial Services Committee and is also currently serving a two-year term as a Young Lawyer Liaison to American Bar Association’s Consumer Financial Services Committee’s Preemption Subcommittee. She received her J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Law in 2008 and a B.A. from the University of California at Irvine (cum laude) in 2005.
