Tina Tchen recognized by the “Bloomberg 50”
Tina Tchen and the “legal guardians” of the Time’s Up Legal Defense Fund were named to the 2018 “Bloomberg 50” list, which recognizes those in business, entertainment, finance, politics, and technology who achieved noteworthy accomplishments in 2018 and “defined global business.”
Tchen was recognized along with Hilary Rosen, Roberta Kaplan, and Fatima Goss Graves for organizing the Time’s Up Legal Defense Fund in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein sexual abuse allegations. The fund aims to connect victims of workplace sexual harassment with lawyers. It has received nearly 3,800 requests for assistance, attracted 800 volunteer lawyers, and, in less than a year, raised more than $22 million.

She draws on more than 30 years of experience at the highest levels of private practice and government service, which include serving as Assistant to President Obama, Executive Director of the White House Council on Women and Girls, and Chief of Staff to First Lady Michelle Obama.
