Final CCPA Regulations: Compliance Considerations | CUCP Virtual Meeting

On June 1, the California attorney general submitted final proposed CCPA regulations that are targeted for adoption by the law’s July 1 deadline. Businesses adopting and finalizing their own processes and procedures are navigating complex challenges to comply with the regulations. Orrick attorney Sherry Safchuk discussed the requirements set forth in the final proposal, which is likely to be adopted substantially as proposed, and the challenges that businesses are facing in implementing some of the technical aspects of the regulations.
